Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)
Although there is water in its name, the Aquarius is the last air sign of the zodiac.
It is represented by the symbol of the water carrier, the mystic healer that gives water, or life, on earth. As a result, Aquarius is considered the most philanthropic among the zodiac signs.
Revolutionary thinker, has a strong ambition to change the world.
Aquarius is a rebel who can’t stand authority and everything that represents the conventional. They are free spirits, eccentrics and can often be recognized for their unusual aesthetic taste, unusual hobbies and a maverick attitude.
The Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet of innovation, technology and unexpected events. Uranus perfectly reflects the unique attitude of Aquarius, complementary to the non-traditional nature of these visionary air signs.
The Aquarius are great thinkers, but sometimes they forget those around them. These water carriers can focus so much on a progressive idea or an artistic project to forget about friends and family, so their reputation, which precedes them, is to be detached and cold in relationships. For this reason, they must remember that progress always starts from the bottom up, trying to be more empathetic towards those close to them whenever possible.
Like Taurus, Leo and Scorpio, the other fixed signs of the zodiac, even Aquarius can have nuances of stubbornness at times. And this may be his Achilles’ heel, for a sign that rules the ankles, after all.
The obstinacy of Aquarius starts from a strong and legitimate conviction, which calms down as soon as they get the opportunity to stage the coveted change of which they are a natural bearer.
Because these water carriers are so deeply motivated by an egalitarian spirit, they love to work as a team and date like-minded people.
And on the other hand, the Aquarius have a vital need for space and time all to themselves, to reflect on, to devise and to plan their role in the revolution they have in mind, whatever their field of action is. The extreme need of Aquarius is freedom: if someone or something gets in their way, for those born under this sign it is a real attack on independence, an attempt at control under which they cannot, will not and must not submit.
So, to gain the trust of an Aquarius it is better to stay away from its strangest occupations – strange for you, certainly not for him or for her – and avoid bending them to petty bourgeois needs (family reunions, holidays, your habits, and beware of Aquarius: they change habits as often as they change their mind…).
Also because the Aquarius limited in their hunger for freedom know how to give the best of themselves, but this “better” has the tones and the same soundtrack of that horror movie that you never want to see again.
